The final week of the One Room Challenge concludes and of course, there’s a REVEAL! An inspired library transitions to a minimalist WFH office before finally arriving in a charged up gym zone ready to pump it up!
Sometimes we’re victims of our own doing. Never satisfied, we relentlessly re-ran the staging until finally calling it quits at 4AM last night. And we couldn’t check off the entire list – for example deferring the addition of a 16′ beam over the arched windows.
Upon reflection, ORC has taught us this – have fun, don’t stress, and be thankful! Thank you for connecting with us, sharing a few laughs, and bouncing ideas.
Progression: Week 1 | Week 2 | Week 3 | Week 4 | Week 5 | Week 6 | Week 7 | Week 8
If you came here from the ORC site, hello! I’m Sanju Patel. By day, I work behind a desk, typically crunching numbers. By night, you can find me in a garage. My wife and I purchased a home in Texas 3 years ago – a quick close without costly bells and whistles. As lifelong fans of DIY, we’ve decided to invest into our home as our family grows with an open invitation to see our process from start to finish.
Before and After
The moment we have been waiting for. Do you remember week 1? On one corner we have desk pushed against the wall and in the other a stationary bike hoping to be a work from home gym.
Well, we’ve certainly come a long way!
What do you think? Is this a space that you could be motivated to workout in, read a book, or work from home?
A BIG, BIG THANK YOU for following and supporting us. Till next time, adios!
As always, send us any questions and don’t forget to follow our Instagram stories. By the way, there are 20 SUPERB featured designers participating in the One Room Challenge with Better Homes and Gardens as a media partner. These guys and gals totally rock and will not disappoint. Check it out!
